- I have updated the file summary.--Mor2 (talk) 01:38, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. "I haven't been able to find a free version" isn't what's required for fair use to be acceptable, "It's literally impossible to create a free version" is what's required. This clearly fails our fair use standards. Kevin Gorman (talk) 07:49, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- The file still hasn't been deleted yet. But it's been removed from any article, so I guess the bot will take care of it.-- FutureTrillionaire (talk) 12:46, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free content is used only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding. This image is not critical for understanding, but is used in a decorative fashion. Since this file does not greatly enhance understanding, nor will its omission greatly decrease understanding, it must be deleted. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 05:36, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I disagree with you Justin. This image is being used to enhance the description of the plot. Might I suggest that since this appears to be for all the TZ articles that an admin groups them all together. --ZeWrestler Talk 23:54, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. Nom ignored discussion of image and image topic in article prose. "Decorative" is still not a valid deletion reason, and must be removed. Nominator further falsifies policy: "not critical for understanding", "greatly enhance" and "greatly decrease" are not stated in policy. Misleading about policy while attempting to enforce it is egregiously bad form. That said, the specific scene should be discussed more fully and critically, or pick a more representative scene which is discussed critically by reviewers. --Lexein (talk) 08:56, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Response How is a picture of a woman looking up enhancing the understanding of the plot? This is non-free media that must be justified on educational grounds. None of these Twilight Zone pictures do and so they all must be deleted. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 19:55, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Pick a better, more representative scene, and make sure it is discussed by reviewers. That said, "decorative" is still not a valid deletion reason, and must be removed. The result of the discussion was: delete. Unconvincing arguments to keep the image. ZeWrestler states that "is being used to enhance the description of the plot", but there is no evidence of that. Do we need an image of the characters to understand that they exist in the series? Not at all. Unlike cover art and logos where there is usually one image that identifies the topic, promotional images, screenshots, and the like require critical commentary as noted at WP:NFCI. WP:NFCC#8 requires not only that the image significantly increase the understanding of the article, but that its omission would be detrimental to that understanding. The reader does not lose any essential information without this image, and its inclusion is not merited. This same rationale applies to subsequent nominations on this page. — ξxplicit 01:59, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

—Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 05:38, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

—Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 05:40, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment: "decorative" is still not a valid deletion reason, and must be removed. Nominator further falsifies policy: "not critical for understanding", "greatly enhance" and "greatly decrease" are not stated in policy. Misleading about policy while attempting to enforce it is egregiously bad form. --Lexein (talk) 08:56, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- It's worth noting, I think, that unlike most (all?) of the other items up for deletion, this is a sound file and not an image. I captured, extracted, and edited it in order to increase the understanding of the topic. Specifically, many people think the doll's name is "Talking Tina", but the sound clip confirms that it's "Talky Tina". travisl (talk) 08:43, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading about policy while attempting to enforce it is egregiously bad form. --Lexein (talk) 08:56, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

—Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 05:45, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This person has posted multiple image file here for deletion. They use the same argument in every case -- the same sentence word for word. The concept they propound is a little extreme in my opinion. What they call "decorative" is their individual opinion and they seek to impose it on everyone else. The image was uploaded for informational purposes in regards to the article it is a part of. It's presence does not harm the article and does contribute to it. -- Jason Palpatine (talk) 14:23, 19 November 2012 (UTC) This User fails to understand Wikipedia's Systematized Logistical Projection of its Balanced Policy Contingency. Invalid FUR: Non-free content is used only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding. This image is not critical for understanding, but is used in a decorative fashion. Since this file does not greatly enhance understanding, nor will its omission greatly decrease understanding, it must be deleted. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 05:56, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- File:The Dummy.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Shinerunner (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
—Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 06:05, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment: "decorative" is still not a valid deletion reason, and must be removed. Nominator further falsifies policy: "not critical for understanding", "greatly enhance" and "greatly decrease" are not stated in policy. - While I appreciate the hold, if you have a !vote about this image or the deletion nom, please do go forward in expressing that. If the image or the scene represented by the image is not discussed critically, I'm afraid the image must be deleted or replaced by one which is so discussed. I detest the language of this (and all current batch) noms, as false and misleading. --Lexein (talk) 08:56, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

—Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 06:26, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
